Awareness workshop on UN Resolution 1325 and the Peace Agenda
The Women's Development Foundation in Shabwa implemented an awareness workshop on UN Resolution 1325 and the Women's Agenda for Peace. The workshop targeted 8 participants. The central issues were discussed and views and personal experiences were exchanged in the field of implementing UN Resolution 1325 and enhancing the role of women in peace and security. The challenges facing the implementation of the resolution and ways to overcome them were also discussed, in addition to exchanging ideas and initiatives to enhance women's work in this field. Awareness workshop on Resolution 1325 on the occasion of International Women's Day
Together We Rise Foundation, in partnership with Wujoud Foundation for Human Security, implemented an awareness workshop to raise awareness of the content of Resolution 1325; During the workshop, the objectives of the resolution and its importance in promoting gender justice and enhancing the role of women in promoting peace and security were discussed. Detailed information was provided about the constraints and challenges facing the implementation of the resolution and highlighting the practical steps that can be taken to achieve it.
