Awareness workshop on UN Resolution 1325 and the Peace Agenda

The Women's Development Foundation in Shabwa implemented an awareness workshop on UN Resolution 1325 and the Women's Agenda for Peace. The workshop targeted 8 participants. The central issues were discussed and views and personal experiences were exchanged in the field of implementing UN Resolution 1325 and enhancing the role of women in peace and security. The challenges facing the implementation of the resolution and ways to overcome them were also discussed, in addition to exchanging ideas and initiatives to enhance women's work in this field.  Date: March 2024
